Evidence was collected from his car and King Street apartment, though no new signs of physical abuse were found. Jackson waived his first court appearance Friday, where a judge set bail at $750,000 and barred him from contact with minors or internet devices, citing his threat to society.

He remains in King County Jail and is due back in court on Feb 2.Jackson has eight prior sex offense convictions, including assaults on a 12-year-old boy and a 7-year-old boy, child sex abuse material charges, and attempts to solicit elementary-aged boys.

He admitted to abusing around 70 children and was committed to the Special Commitment Center on McNeil Island in 2003 as a sexually violent predator.

Conditionally released in 2019 to a King County facility, he faced recommitment for violations before an SVP petition was dismissed in March 2025 based on an evaluation by Dr. Harry Goldberg. He received unconditional release shortly after, months before the current allegations surfaced.
