Have you ever imagined yourself as part of a thriving community, living harmoniously and abundantly with the land and other kindred souls?
This has been a dream of mine that Iβve carried most of my life and it is time to bring this vision to life.
It is not something I can do alone, so I am asking for your help. If this is something you have a strong desire to make happen, please read the blueprint for building these communities and connect with me if you feel called to contribute to this transformative project.

Positivity can have some catastrophic consequences.
But a simple paradigm shift can help you avoid the common traps that a positivity-only mindset can lead to.
What are the pitfalls of positivity?
1. Emotional Suppression: Consistently upholding a positive facade means emotions labeled as negative are not dealt with and build up until there is an explosion. This pattern goes on perpetually until those stored emotions are released.
2. Reduced Authenticity: Positivity posts may garner a lot of likes and engagement, but pretending that we are always positive and kind (especially towards ourselves) ignores a lot of the experiences we are actually having. Acknowledge that you are striving towards the ideal, but not always able to uphold it.
3. Surface Relationships: Relationships deepen through shared experiences, which include both joy and adversity. Bonds are strengthened when people are unafraid to engage in the struggles, learn from the experience, and grow together.
4. Missed Opportunities For Growth: Challenges and failures are fertile ground for growth. Negating the negative means valuable life lessons may go unlearned, stunting personal and professional development.
5. Resistance to Change: Positive vibes only can inadvertently create a culture that rejects constructive feedback because it is seen as negative. Growth thrives on adaptability and openness to change.
6. Inability to Cope with Life's Complexities: Life's richness lies in its contrasts. We run the risk of being unprepared to handle life's complexities when they inevitably arise when we condition ourselves to accept only the positive.
The one factor that makes a positivity-only mindset dangerous is the fact that you are starting with a conditioned mind. Limiting beliefs and unresolved issues are already in your subconscious. This new methodology can create inner conflict as you try to hold down the emotional triggers and automatic behaviors that you label as negative.
Situations and relationships are complex. Trying to narrow an experience down to positive or negative is like taking a vibrant, colorful image, and converting it to black and white. Not even grayscale is allowed in this purview.
Instead of labeling thoughts in a dualistic manner, embrace the full spectrum of lifeβs beauty. Unpleasant experiences are there to let us know we have some room to grow or changes to make if we desire different results. Start taking out the mental programming that is inconsistent with reality so you can begin moving towards the ideal and experience authentic joy.
Everything is happening for you, but you have to be open to receiving the gift. Sometimes this means sitting with uncomfortable emotions so you can get to the root cause and let it go. It has been my experience that you feel lighter and more peaceful every time you do this.

As I reflect on 7Β² trips around the sun here are 7 things I have learned:
I am always loved, supported, and held even in the darkest moments.
Everything happens for a reason, whether I comprehended it or not.
My mind was conditioned from the time I was in the womb. I may not have put the programs there, but I am responsible for changing them if they work against me or others.
There is a remedy for everything and it is mine if I ask for and am willing to receive it. (This is where the mind conditioning gets in the way)
Trusting my body to heal instead of a pill has helped me overcome depression, anxiety, sleep apnea, lower back pain, seasonal allergies, chronic bronchitis, and more.
Discovering inner peace and oneness showed me that it is possible for everyone.

It's not your fault that your mind was programmed with limiting beliefs and emotional triggers in childhood, but it is your responsibility to deprogram it as an adult.
