As the pandemic wears on, many of us are feeling the strain ourselves. Yet, we know some are facing even more precarious situations.

The theme of this year’s The Giving Methodist theme is anchored in Galatians 6:9, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

In the upcoming Lent season especially, let us arise as a Methodist family and persevere in doing good. In whatever capacity we can as Christ has called us to, let us give our time, voice and make a donation.

Find out more on how you can do so at today.

“The calling from God is what motivated me to serve. I hope the community will see Methodists as people whom those in need can seek help, encouragement and comfort from.” Ms Teo Suet Ehr, Volunteer from MWS Senior Activity Centre – GreenTops@Sims Place

Did you know that just $40 a month can help to support a child from a disadvantaged family?

Every dollar that you donate has a far-reaching impact and no amount is too little.

From contributing to programmes that help beneficiaries get out of debt, to blessing socially isolated seniors with access to amenities and social activities, your donation goes a long way to uplift those who are struggling.

May we be challenged during this Lent season to persevere in doing good by giving generously as the Lord exhorts us to. Make a donation at today.
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
Proverbs 31:8-9 NIV

As Christians, we are exhorted to be a voice for the voiceless and those who are in need. Regardless of where we are in adapting to the pandemic, let us actively recognise that there’s still a group facing even more precarious situations. May we continue to persevere and do good!

You can lend your voice by sharing our cause today 😊 Download images on our website and send it to your friends, or share our campaign video on your social media. No one is too insignificant, every share counts!
