My first book just came out. If you'd like to see my perspective on matters such as eschatology, cosmology, and the genealogy of the gods then this would be a good place to go. I attempted to take the many years of research and debates among members of the Norroena Society, and broader heathenry in general and simplify them. This isn't a typical research book but is meant to be a guide towards Sedian Belief and Practice.

Just to follow on from this post, there's something I want all of you to consider...

I've been driven to speak out, regardless of what it costs me. But in this modern society, there's a hefty price for that. You know it, which is why most of you follow channels like this one anonymously. You want to keep your job, your income, your friends. That's fine, but if you want others to speak for you, you must support them.

The way I see it, you should either support those on the frontline by publicly expressing support for them, or you use the income you've preserved (through your own silence) to support them materially.

I've never asked for donations, even though I'm a relatively low-earner with a family to feed. Speaking out has, as it turns out, damaged my income over the last 5-6 years, and there are state-funded Marxist extremists who harbour paedophiles and are knowingly trying to take food out of my children's mouths.

Lack of financial support from other dissidents doesn't upset me, but the abject lack of vocal support from other musicians, friends and acquaintances has been utterly shocking. It's enough to make you think: "What's the point? Who am I speaking up for and why?" Only those who've been in my position will understand the feeling, the disappointment. I've received countless private messages and emails thanking me for taking a stand, which I appreciate, but it's not enough.

I'm not going to start asking for donations, but if you can't stand with me publicly, you could, for example, buy some of my music, or a t-shirt. Or at the very least, spread the word about my music so that others discover it. My bands are Wolcensmen, Gràb, Solstice, Garde.

And please apply this to others who are publicly speaking up about issues important to you. Most of them have sacrificed a lot, and will only continue with your tangible support.

Which Way Sedishmen?

Integrity is not just about reputation or appearance before others, but it's about holding fast to principles that stand above convenience and above shifting interpretation. Honor, loyalty, and justice belong to a higher order: holy law, ǫrlǫg, wyrd. These bind us to accountability and in harmony within the natural order. The true measure of character is whether we uphold these standards in deed, especially when it is costly; and whether we carry the humility to name wrongdoing, to make amends where amends can be made, and to accept consequences where amends cannot be made. With those in which we have frith, honesty is a virtue required of those who would walk the higher way, and with it, honor is married to sacred law. Our ancestors treated honor as tangible and communal; it wasn't merely an inward feeling. Depending on the offense and the restitution required, there were laws and judgments that both condemned and restored. Justice, likewise, requires standards greater than the self, such as clear measures, rightful judgment, and consequences in proportion to the deed. This is so frith amongst kinsmen and friends can be nourished, maintained., and when need, mended. This Iron Age is sliding toward collapse, toward the Wolf Age, so we must recover the foundations necessary for our folk to rebuild and endure.

A tenet of being Heathen is healthiness & our heritage contains this ethic: simple, honest meals built on whole foods that sustain life, sharpen the mind, & fortify the folk

This means whole, uncorrupted foods, animal foods, whole veggies, whole fruit, & fermented staples, used for recovery: rebuilding tissue, calming inflammation, steadying the blood, reducing oxidation, & keeping the mind clear

Modern convenience eating, with its engineered flavors, seed oils, & refined sugars, breaks this foundation. It dulls cognition & trades long-term health for short-term appetite

Personally I follow the Weston A. Price dietary principles & spend time making jun, dehydrated organ powder, beef tallow, sauerkraut, pickles, herbal teas, health drinks, & more

As Sedishmen, we must build our bodies strong, beginning with what & how we eat

The time for American Heathenry is now.

The American folcsida, that is our folk-ways, are the expression of the spirit and culture of Americans, the descendants of the Europeans who traversed the seas and built a strong and prosperous nation out of a wild and untamed wilderness. We do not reenact the past, but continue the chain of continuity, honoring what came before while remaining rooted in the present to build a better future. This means preserving and protecting our inherited traditions and reviving them when necessary, while also accepting new traditions when they strengthen what we have received and benefit us moving forward. Our folcsida embody a people, our folk, who live their faith in real, daily practice. Sedianism is our traditional Germanic religion, but our folcsida is our collective cultural expression that grows around, from, and within it, including symbols, language, beliefs, values, traditions, social structure, art, literature, law and governance, diet, clothing, and entertainment. We are our own folk, but strongly and proudly, a pan-Germanic folk. Our religion is paramount, but it’s but one part of our rich culture, so let’s revel in its beauty and richness, for we are a noble folk - we are Sedish and we are American Heathens!

A Case for Pan-Germanicism, Part 1

Language is birthed from culture; from collective experiences, thews, & knowledge. Proto-Germanic, the parent language of the Germanics, shows this. As the Proto-Germanic-speaking tribes expanded, geographical separation & various influences led to the development of different languages, via dialectal evolution, i.e. Old English, Old Norse, Old High German, Old Saxon, Old Frisian, etc. Despite this evolution, the languages remained similar in vocabulary, grammar, & syntax, reflecting their common origin. The Proto-Germanic word king (*kuningaz) evolved into Old English cyning, Old Norse konungr, & Old High German/Old Saxon kuning. Germanics are related cultures with shared heritage & not foreign to one another. While they developed distinct languages & cultural expressions, via migration & time, they remained similar through their common Proto-Germanic roots proving that they were not foreigners to each other, but branches of the same cultural family tree

A Case for Pan-Germanicism, Part 2

The shared cultural heritage of the Anglo-Saxons, Norse, and Continental Germanics is seen in their myths & histories, e.g. the Wild Hunt, Wayland the Smith, & the Nibelungen saga. The Wild Hunt, known in Scandinavia as Ásgarðsreið, Wilde Jagd in Germany, & Herlaþing in England, depicts a procession; usually led by Wóden. Wayland the Smith's tale, recorded in both the Norse Völundarkviða & Béowulf, as well as appearing on the Franks Casket highlighting the legend of the masterful & vengeful smith. Additionally, there are parallels in the Norse Völsunga saga & the German Nibelungenlied, which tell the story of heroic figures like Sigurd. These myths illustrate the interconnectedness of the Germanic folk, in both their myths & broader religion; thus, revealing deep cultural ties

It’s Yule weekend!

~ Þórrablót - to Þórr for blessings of sustenance; to guard us against hunger

~Jólablót - to Óðinn for spiritual peace; to guard us against strife & misfortune

~ Sonarblót - to Lord Freyr, Seaxnéat for atonement; to guard us against the wrongs left not yet made right

I’ll be observing Jólaveizla this evening, condensing the three into one. Aside from the Rista ok Skafa lyfrúnar Trúfylgjur some offerings include a piece of burned wood that’s been in every sacred fire I’ve had for the past 14 years, with a strand of hair (saved from my youth), spring water from the Hot Springs in AR where my Great-Grandfather was from, to be placed in the the northern skál representing Hvergelmir’s creative waters, some homemade Jun to be placed in the center hlautbolli representing the mead of wisdom of Mímisbrunnr, and some fresh local raw milk in the southern blótbolli representing the holy Aurr of Urðarbrunnr.
