Context to the Prior Incident Involving the Kidnapping of the Pope by Certain French Generals
The tension reached its climax when the pope, for the sake of neutrality, refused to apply the continental blockade against England wanted by Bonaparte. Furious at the Pope's response and acting like a real tyrant, the Emperor decided, in retaliation, to invade the Papal States in 1809. The Pope was therefore surrounded by French troops within his Palace. It was too much for the Pontiff who excommunicated Napoleon (implicitly, his name not being mentioned) by the bull Quum memoranda: "All those responsible for the attacks committed in Rome and in the States of the Church against ecclesiastical immunities and against the even temporal rights of the Church and of the Holy See”.

Current historical writings dealing with matters related to the Third Reich paint a bleak picture. This applies especially to writings that deal with the Jewish ethnic group. To this day there are still accounts of the Jewish emigration that depict it as some kind of clandestine operation — as if the Jews who wished to leave Germany had to sneak over the borders in defiance of the German authorities, leaving all their possessions and wealth behind. The truth is that the emigration was welcomed by the German authorities, and frequently occurred under a constantly increasing pressure. Emigration was not some kind of wild flight, but rather a lawfully determined and regulated matter. Weckert's booklet elucidates the emigration process in law and policy, thereby augmenting the traditionally received picture of Jewish emigration from Germany.

On The Philosophy of Emanuel Kant
The problem with most narratives rejecting “the Enlightenment” is that the whole idea of lumping the entire 18th century in the Western European nations into a single milieu is questionable. In particular, the Anglophone and German milieus of that century represent two radically different poles of that epoch, two rival “Enlightenments.” Kant, for instance, is mostly an inappropriate punching bag for what’s wrong with 18th century thinking. Granted, Kant’s ethics are even more repulsive than his prose, but at the same time, Kant differs from most of his Anglophone Enlightenment counterparts (all of them except Berkeley, I’d say) in that he could be quite an anti-scientistic thinker. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Steven Pinker, the “intellectual” mouthpiece of the bugman Epstein oligarchy, has attacked Kant as the predecessor of German Romantic anti-scientism; in many ways he indeed was. By the time we get to Goethe and his German milieu a generation later, we see the German Enlightenment’s rebellion against the Anglo-Rosicrucian tradition of scientism in full effect. Kant originated the doctrine that the polarity of attraction and repulsion precedes the superficial Newtonian surface phenomena of matter and motion, an idea later taken to its full potential by Goethe’s friend F.W. von Schelling. Without that doctrine, there would be no Traditionalist school. Thus, whatever the faults of his ridiculous ethics (which were later corrected by Goethe and Schopenhauer), Kant is not a predecessor of what we fight today. On the contrary, he was partially a predecessor of some excellent alternatives to the technocratic and scientistic bugman paradigms that still rule us.

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwan now has the lowest birth rate in the world, according to the CIA.
In the CIA's latest report on the total fertility rate (TFR), which assesses the average number of children women in a given country are expected to have during their childbearing years, Taiwan was ranked last out of 227 countries at 1.07 children per woman. The countries with the next four lowest birth rates are all in Asia: South Korea at 1.09, Singapore at 1.15, Macau at 1.21, and Hong Kong at 1.22.
African nations account for the highest fertility rates in the world, with Niger in first place at 6.91 children per woman, followed by Angola at 5.90, the Democratic Republic of the Congo at 5.70, Mali at 5.63, and Chad at 5.57, rounding out the top five. The CIA considers women's prime childbearing years to be between the ages of 15 and 45.

According to Heidegger the questioning of Being is unique to western philosophical tradition, however we see that the hermeneutic of Being is explicit in inter- cultural context of thinking. Understanding Brahman as “one” and “the same” Śankara speaks together with Heidegger the same hermeneutic of ontological monism. Due to the reason that there is no explicit terminological equivalent of the word ‘Being’ in Śankara’s thinking, the hermeneutic of Śankara’s ontological understanding of Brahman and its distinction as “Saguna” and “Nirguna” are not sufficiently explored. The hermeneutic of these explicit ontological characters of Being, as concealment and un- concealment allow us to discover a sabotaging brotherhood, because the nihil and something are ontologically two essential sides of the same thinking.
