I fell all the way to the bottom of this rabbit hole on November 2, 2017.
I never wanted to crawl out, but this phase of The Great Awakening is not easy. Not in the least.
When I was 17, I volunteered for a four-year stint in Army Intel. Those four years felt like a lifetime.
The past four years felt like four short months. They flew by.
I'm now nearly 60 years old.
Today, I feel tired.
This ride has not been easy. Many of my closest friends are struggling... in serious ways.
My family have all volunteered for "the jab". They view me and Mrs. Beer as lepers.
My Mother doesn't want me to stop by for a visit. However, she doesn't give a second thought about going out to a restaurant or pub to see friends. Intellectually, she freely admits that this "mask/distance 'thing'" makes no sense, and yet she doesn't want me anywhere near her. She agrees with my reasoning that it makes no sense to put on a mask to walk TO a table in a restaurant, but it's okay to take them off when seated.
My step-dad (rightfully so) tries to protect her, but buys into whatever the MSM is selling.
My real father now lives alone and drools while watching CNN. Can't reach him, either, but I call him every day to check in. Can't go see him or give him one last hug before he passes on. He's scared of me because I don't wear masks or get vaccinated.
What scares me the most is that the people who have known me my entire life will freely tell others that I'm one of the smartest people they know, and then forget that simple thought because I refuse to blindly follow the sheep into the slaughterhouse.
However, I woke up this morning choosing to be grateful for two things... God and you folks.
If ever there was a time to reach out to your fellow believers in "The Great Awakening", that time is right now.
I, just now, got off the phone with my "Q mate" in Australia. He's in bad shape, but we're still choosing to love on each other.
I also just called my BFF, and we're on a chat as I'm finishing this missive. I dragged him down this rabbit hole, and am waffling if I helped him awaken or made his life more difficult. I sincerely hope it's the latter; not the former. I just asked him if he regretted me introducing him to TGA, and he just said, "not at all. If I had found this on my own, I'd be a raving lunatic today and everyone who know me would think I'd lost my mind."
That said, maybe it's a miracle that I have Mrs. Beer and some other frens to go through this crazy time together. Today, we're clinging tightly together and hanging on for dear life.
We're also choosing to leave our cares and worries at the foot of The Cross.
"Jesus, please show us some light at the end of this tunnel."
The only thing that keeps me smiling is that I KNOW that someday soon--one way or the other--I will get a welcoming hug from Jesus Christ.
Therefore, I--today--renew my vow to live every single moment for the rest of this lifetime with NO FEAR of anything or anyone!
If you haven't yet given your life over to the Lord, simply bow your head and ask Him to enter your heart. It's that easy.

They will rush back before its too late!”
