H1Bs, the majority of which are given to Indians, are often used on "frequent fliers" who return to India carrying precious metals as remittances to avoid taxation on exit and entry to India.

Aside from congressional intervention this is the most severe de facto restriction on the H1B visa available to the admin's executive branch powers, while still allowing the odd European doctor or scientist to stay in America.

It's actually a loss for our side because....

Time to give an answer, and do so in a way that calls myself an idiot. Trump is obviously trying to do something good, but we can't tell what the result is yet because it was just signed.

Think back to January of 2017. One of Trump's first EOs was the "Muslim travel ban." It was in effect for... Maybe a few days or so before it was challenged and shut down. Probably not even enough time for the enforcement infrastructure to be properly put into place.

Anyways... Basic lesson there is essentially "don't count your chickens before they hatch" because an EO being signed could mean nothing.

But that would be neutral, right? How could this be a loss?

If nothing happens, yet it stokes leftist sentiments, especially if it also hurts right wing morale... Seems like it would probably have made the left more likely to win future battles.

But that hasn't happened yet, it's just one way it could be a loss.

Main thing here is "be patient." Wait and see that happens before cheering. Don't declare victory before anything actually happens.

Observe how the political man lies. He expects us to believe that he has been a prominent figure in the e-right for years and had somehow never before encountered and recognized a low-IQ antisemite.

That he thinks his audience will either believe this or not put it together says a lot about his level of respect for them.

I humbly ask for prayers today for my family as my grandfather has been called to Christ this morning. Pray for us and that his soul is in paradise with Christ our Lord on this day.

Some good points here, some bad. But he's right that you need to spend some of your time without stimulation. If you can't simply sit and relax, something has gone wrong.

Can the online right resist the urge to throw the widow of their newfound hero under the bus for saying something Christ-like? Tune in tomorrow to out tomorrow.

Anger consumes us from the inside if we let it. St. Joseph the Hesychast said anger is like a snake in the belly, and we need to clamp our mouth shut to starve it of air and kill it. Anger, the incensive faculty of the soul, was given to us to get rid of anything that keeps us from God. Anger should be turned against our sin, not other creatures of God.
