This may be a helpful listen (There are two other parts to the audio). The spirit of "Revolution" has long been deconstructing the world, in that sense what was portrayed of late at the Olympic opening is not all that shocking. Not because it is not blasphemous, it is, but because it is indeed part of the continuous and evolving deconstruction that the spirit of revolution is working in the world. It is ever seeking to establish a "new" religious consciousness in people. Imagery plays a very big role in that. It is helpful to have some understanding and be aware. Yet, let us never forget that Christ Jesus conquers. The spirit of the age is working for this fading age, and ends in slavery. The Kingdom of Christ Jesus is eternal and everlasting and truly free. Claims like this are apparently going around in online conservative circles right now. The argument being made here is that Biden can't be president because he was sworn in before noon, which purportedly violates the 20th amendment.
Here's the important bit:
This is a very silly way to look at things.
Firstly, the 20th amendment says when the current president's term ends. It says nothing about how this relates to being sworn in; it does not say or imply that the president elect must be sworn in after the other's term has ended.
Furthermore, article 2 states that a president must be sworn in before they can be considered president. Given this, it actually makes logistical sense to try to get it done before noon. Why? If it happens later, then there's a gap where nobody is president, which seems good to avoid when possible.
Lastly-- -- -- the Constitution is a piece of paper, man. It doesn't actually do or guarantee anything. You don't actually have a right to speech or to bear arms or any of that stuff because the Constitution says so; if those in power decided "no more guns," that would be that, and no amount of complaining about the constitutionality of it would affect anything.
Politics makes people say things like this. Don't do politics.
