Nice little hunting parcel for sale; $830 an acre, mostly forest, with some natural ponds and tributaries flowing into the Little Black River and a decent little camp.
Commentary from a friend and book club member on Mystery Grove's satire:

They're correct in the universe where "political" solutions are possible. That universe doesn't exist, but they hang on to the delusion because it gives them a comforting feeling of control over the situation, like there's some path out if they play their cards right. They get to feel smart because they're the only ones who can see the narrow path.

The other cohort who talks like this is neurotic right wing parents who can't let go of the notion that status is important. They don't want their progeny to become what they perceive as peasants.

Both are insipid self delusions.

That "Peachy Keenan" account is the worst about this. Spews reactionary talking points all day then sends her son to college because she can't fathom the idea of him not having the status that college entails.

At the end of the day its all just the Yuri Effect: That which you cannot let go of will be used to trap and manipulate you

Democracy is residents of cities voting to literally release wolves into rural areas against the objections of the people who live there

First you have to pay $400k for a small shack that's dilapidated to the point where it could seemingly fall apart any moment, then you can't use your gas leaf blower.... RIP Ann Arbor trolls
