Whilst we have always maintained that TAP is not aligned to anyone particular political party, this is a really great video by Topher Field that explains about the preferential voting system and how it works if you want a different result to the one we currently have.
The only way this will work is if we all take the time to share this and get as many people to view it and understand it as possible before the election and to take action at the time.

It has come to TAP’s attention just recently about people or groups that are starting to use the TAP logo for activities that are NOT aligned to TAP and could potentially cause harm to the TAP name/brand and what TAP stands for.
One such group that was using the TAP logo as their group logo was selling ammunition, cannabis, pharmaceuticals and guns online in a telegram group. As this could potentially defame and do harm to the TAP name/brand and we do not wish to be associated with such things, we take this matter seriously and this is being reported to the federal police and police in other states as a result. We are making this public notice to let people know that TAP is NOT involved in any way with this group nor does it endorse their activities.
If any TAP admins have joined this group thinking it was related to TAP in anyway, we are urging you to jump out of the group. We will not publically name the group because if you’re in it, you will already know which group we are speaking about. We issued them a Cease and Desist request and believe the logo may have been taken down already however this is a serious attempt at defaming TAP which is why it is being reported so that TAP is not implicated in this in anyway.
Is it possible that these groups or people are targeting TAP to create the reason for the government to step in under the grounds of the Australian Federal Governments Identify and Disrupt legislation?
We must remain vigilant at all times as we always endeavour to protect the TAP name and brand and what we stand for. If anyone sees anything else going on that’s questionable or does not align to the TAP ethos, please make sure you report to our admins.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Lismore and QLD tonight and the floods they are experiencing. We pray that everyone is safe or has been rescued from their homes and has been taken to a safe place.
