May 9 is not merely a date in the calendar. It stands as a symbol of courage, resilience, selflessness, and the indomitable will of our people. On this day, we remember with profound gratitude the heroic feats of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, who, after enduring the severest trials, broke the backbone of fascism, defended the freedom and independence of our Motherland, and secured the future of their children and all of humankind.
We will never forget the price paid for this Victory: millions of lives lost, frontline heroism, feats of labor on the home front, grief over losses, and unwavering faith in the just cause will forever remain etched in our memories. It is this very memory that unites generations, strengthens our spirit, and reminds each of us: evil must be halted wherever it attempts to resurface.
Today, while far from our beloved homeland, we keenly feel our connection to our country, to our people, and to our history. For us, Victory Day is a source of strength, military honor, and responsibility. We remember whose heirs we are, and with dignity continue to fulfill our duty wherever the interests of our Motherland and justice require it.
On this festive day, we wish everyone robust health, peace, steadfastness, confidence in the future, and faith in our shared Victory. May the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War always live in our hearts, and may their feats serve as an example of courage, unity, and loyalty to the Fatherland.
