As you are likely aware, the medical consensus on the COVID-19 "vaccine" effectiveness is that they do not prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2. When I am elected Lt. Governor, I am not pledging to reform your property taxes, I am promising to eliminate your property taxes in first session.
Property Taxes in Texas need to go. There is no justification for a country, founded upon liberty and freedom, to be charging people to pay rent on their own land. It needs to be stopped and eliminated permanently. Including a Constitutional Amendment.
The problem with Property Taxes is the same with most of our issues in Texas. We have elected people who protect the system and get paid off by lobbyists instead of doing what the people have asked. So I have endorsed a plan from http://EliminatePropertyTax.com. The bill already exists and the current Lt. Governor has refused to ever look at it. I will not take excuses from the legislature and sure as hell not from the lobbyists who are forcing hard working Texans out of their home.
In 2013, Rep. George Lavender (HD1) sponsored HB3742 (83R), a 224-page bill that resulted from a detailed, 159-page fiscal analysis that Economist/Attorney Rick Cunningham did in 2010.
So let's discuss 2 issues...
1. ) State income tax? It is currently banned by our State Constitution and there is no way the people of Texas are going to approve an amendment to change it. That scare tactic needs to stop.
2.) How are we going to fund the schools? By funding schools similar to how we did before the implementation of the Robin Hood program.
As of the last full dive, we needed $85B to replace all revenue that HB3742 (83R) would abolish. Texas GDP is $1.9T. A tax rate of 7% on the whole economy would capture $133B. We assume up to 35% would be exempt, the net is the $86B, and that’s more than sufficient.
This plan would abolish 60+ taxes (including sales, property and franchise), replacing them all with a 7% consumption tax.
This is not adding “another new tax.” Nor is it increasing sales or any other existing tax. Instead, it restructures the Texas tax system into a simple, efficient and transparent, consumption-based tax of 7%. That’s it.
Your local districts would have up to another 3% allowed to keep everything around 10%.

If I were in charge of all elections, here are my positions. Your mileage may vary.
THE TEN POINTS TO TRUE ELECTION INTEGRITY
1) all voter rolls dumped and all legitimate voters re-registered with appropriate means of confirmation to eliminate illegal or double registering of voters.
2) ban on all electronic elections equipment. Poll books, voting machines, tabulators.
3) paper and pen/pencil balloting, granted only with valid ID.
4) mail balloting illegal with exception of overseas military, legitimately disabled with appropriate approval and supervision, or professionals unable to vote on Election Day (doctors, pilots, etc).
5) no early voting. Counter with more and smaller precincts.
6) precincts under 1,000 voters.
7) ballot harvesting illegal and punishable by a decade in prison.
8) Election Day as a state or national holiday. A populist compromise that will eliminate fraud through the means of having weeks or over a month to execute.
9) winners announced by midnight. Somehow FL and TX can tally 10mm+ votes 90 minutes after polls close but PA needs 4 days and CA 4 weeks.
10) ten year Prison terms for anyone caught restricting access for members of any party to observe election procedure (TCF center, etc.), ballot harvesting, repeat scanning ballots, or any other means of distorting an election.

I was speaking with a county election commissioner today, and I showed him that there were 150 voters in his county that he couldn’t tell me who they were.
I assured him that it was a relatively small number... several other counties in his state had far more, and his number was orders of magnitude lower than what I usually find in other states.
He said, “Are you kidding? One of our most important local races was decided by less than 100 votes.”
Our enemy is stealing our country from the ground up, folks.
