A U.S. judge on Friday rejected billionaire Elon Musk's bid to dismiss a lawsuit claiming he defrauded former Twitter shareholders by waiting too long to disclose his initial investment in the social media company, now known as X.

At least 17 Tesla cars were destroyed after a fire broke out at a dealership on the outskirts of Rome on Monday morning, according to Italian fire officials. No one was at the dealership when the fire broke out and no injuries have been reported.

The decline marks a sharp reversal from Tesla's market rally in the weeks following Election Day in November.

Elon Musk announced he will leave his role in the Trump administration at the end of May after leading a $1 trillion deficit reduction as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). DOGE claims it has saved Americans $130 billion so far.
