Okay so there's some confusion about how it being specifically a cybertruck contributed to the fatalities.
Unfortunately running this channel means I'm burdened with knowledge and can make an educated guess.
1. The cybertruck's door handles are all electric. It's likely that in the event of a crash the electrics could become damaged and may stop working.
2. Unless you were already briefed previously on the emergency release handle, the manual for the device is...in the electronic touch screen, which again would likely be inaccessible during an emergency (assuming the driver or passenger either knew to look there or were able to consider doing so during an emergency)
3. Tesla has not published any documentation for first responders on how to actually access occupants from outside the truck during an emergency. 4. The design of the truck puts the "strongest" parts of the body frame at the sides around the door, meaning using something like the jaws of life may be impractical or impossible
