I totally agree with you about vaccines are being forced upon our pets when it is nothing but a money maker for animal clinics. I have had 8 dogs in 31 years. Two were totally allergic to ALL of the vaccines given to them starting with their puppy vaccines. One puppy ended up in the clinic for 3 days for pancreatitis and the vet said that the next year he'd leave out the Lepto. Ha! My one year old dog almost died from pancreatitis after her second rabies shot. The vet said no MORE shots! My second allergic puppy ended up in the ER to the tune of $700 after her 2nd set of puppy shots. She started falling over after we got home. The ER vet and our regular vet said no way was it from the shots. She ended up going back to the ER again the next night as she couldn't walk straight. Two weeks later she got her first rabies shot and immediately started vomiting as we walked out the door and she ended up back on the table with with vet techs and the vet giving her steroid shots left and right and she stayed another hour while my vet had a syringe filled with epinephrine in his hand while we watched her. Finally, he said, "Thank God she is fine. Absolutely, no more vaccinations for her." They over vaccinate children and our pets.
