The only requirement is that the bot owner must be a Telegram Premium user.

However, custom emojis currently work only in private chats and group chats.

For channels, you still need to purchase a username for the bot.

sleep() no longer blocks execution without awaiting.

Use it like this:

Must be awaited, without await it will not work now.
