Episode 4 is finally here! 🎙️🔥
I sat down with Birhan Nega, a software developer with over 10 years of experience, entrepreneur, company founder and content creator.
We talked about his journey in tech, building a company in Ethiopia, working with international teams, discipline, remote opportunities, AI and what genuinely separates an experienced engineer from someone who only knows how to write code.

Most people fail self-study not because the material is too hard, but because their method is weak.

The ML Roadmap is finally live.
When I started learning ML, the hardest part wasn't the math or the code. It was not knowing what to learn next. I ended up learning everything I could find, and honestly a good chunk of it I never use. Along the way I kept notes on the parts that actually mattered, and this roadmap came out of those notes plus a lot of research on how to order the nodes properly, from fundamentals all the way to deployment.
What's in it: a checklist at every node, questionnaires to test yourself, over 80 curated resource links, and real projects built on actual datasets. It starts by figuring out where you already are and points you to the right node instead of making you start from zero. Nodes stay locked until you finish the one before it, so the path stays honest.
This is the first version and it will keep growing. I'd like to hear what the experience feels like, what's missing, and what you'd want added.

I built a 90-day Backend Mastery roadmap for developers who want to go deeper into backend engineering.
It covers 17 systems across Linux, networking, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, system design, distributed systems, Kafka, Kubernetes, cloud, CI/CD, observability, security, and more.
It includes curated resources, hands-on labs, checklists, and a day-by-day plan.
If you're serious about leveling up your backend skills, check it out:

It's 90th day I left campus for break. And in these days I have done things in balance ⚖️ of what I thought of right equilibrium, some of them I regreted (I'll tell you why next).
The main 3 things I did are
1. Applying for jobs and internships
2. Do some coding staff at least 2 hr a day
3. Watching single movie 🍿 and TV drama series most of time.
What I realized
1. Everytime after day to day I feel like a am near to job and at same time when I see the CV I submitted w week ago, feel like how dumb am I submit this LOW level CV.
2. I regreted why I don't vibe coded as many things as possible, even though the problem was the feeling i feel after vibe coding something. It makes me sometimes think 🤔 like what is my future job looks like? Is SWE dying?
But now I realized
Google didn't know it would have IDE called Antigravity till recent years.

I used to build roadmaps for myself, rush through them, might skip the fundamentals, and end up lost in TUTORIAL HELL.
Too many resources without structure actually KILLS your progress.
So, I built the exact thing I always needed:
A centralized, interactive manual taking you from COMPLETE BEGINNER → SENIOR FULLSTACK AI ENGINEER across 7 phases, with real projects at every phase .
Here is how it keeps you LOCKED IN:
STOP JUMPING AHEAD
➤ Topics unlock step-by-step as you complete each milestone.
TRACK UR PROGRESS
➤ GitHub login, saved progress, deep-work hours, and your own timeline.
ALL THE BEST RESOURCES IN ONE PLACE
➤ I brought together The Odin Project, Full Stack Open, Seefun's 90 day Backend Mastery, and Kidus's ML into one space.
➤ YouTube videos placed in each node
I built this for myself, but there's no reason to keep it to myself.
Whether u're a complete beginner or already deep into development, there's something here for u.
Share it with someone who might find it useful!
