OnePlus has officially unveiled its first mechanical keyboard, the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro.
OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro is fully programmable. You can write your own firmware for it using the QMK / VIA software, programming the necessary buttons and macros, as well as RGB lighting effects๐
It claims support for wired (via USB-C) and wireless (Bluetooth 5.1) modes of operation, as well as compatibility with macOS and Windows. There's a 4,000mAh battery inside, which can last 100 hours with the RGB at the lowest brightness level.
The OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro will go on sale in April. OnePlus hasn't revealed the price yet.

Turkey receives cryptocurrency donations after earthquake Binance will airdrop $100 worth of its token BNB to each user affected by recent earthquakes in Turkey. Identification will be based on Proof of Address in 10 cities. Total donations are estimated to be $5 million.
Binance Charity has also launched a public donation address accepting crypto donations. Binance CEO said their efforts would relieve those affected and called on industry peers to offer support.

Google launches Android 14 Developer Preview for Pixel
Google announced the Android 14 Developer Preview today. The February release was expected and matches last year, while it comes as 13 QPR2 is still in beta.
Google says โAndroid 14 builds on the work done in Android 12L and 13 to support tablets and foldable form factors.โ
A Grammatical Inflection API will let developers โmore easily add support for users who speak languages which have grammatical gender.โ
On the Customization front, end users โwill be able to scale up their font to 200%,โ which is up from 130% on Pixel devices today.
To improve Privacy and Security, Android 14 will prevent apps with a targetSdkVersion lower than 23 Android 6.0 in 2015) from being installed.
Lastly, on App compatibility, thereโs OpenJDK 17 support (300 classes) and work to โfully enable Java 17 language features in upcoming developer previews.โ
DP1 (UPP1.230113.009) with the February 2023 security patch is officially โfor developers only and not intended for daily or consumer use.โ Itโs only available via manual download and flashing/sideloading today, with the public-facing Android Beta coming later in April.
