Note : After every update done to TG Drive you must clear your browser cache ( or just for the website if possible ). As the code gets updated but your browser may be running the old js code.

♻️ TG Drive - Today's Updates

What's New:

- File/Folder Sorting: Files and folders are now sorted by the date and time of upload.

- Bug Fixes: Various issues have been resolved to enhance performance.

- Website Auto Pinger: Added functionality to keep hosting websites from idling. Enable it by adding the WEBSITE_URL variable.

- Optimized Use of Premium Accounts: Premium Client (STRING_SESSIONS) will only be used for uploads exceeding 2GB. Bots (BOT_TOKENS) will handle file streaming and downloads.

- Improved File Uploader: The file uploader is now asynchronous, allowing for streaming file uploads.

- File Size Exceed Error Fixed: Resolved issues related to exceeding file size limits.

- Audio File Uploads: Fixed problems related to uploading audio files.

Important Note: If you have already deployed TG Drive, you need to update the DATABASE_BACKUP_MSG_ID variable. This change is necessary to store the upload dates of files and folders in the database. As a result, the existing database will need to be removed.

- Added Progress While File Is Being Processed At Server

You may have encountered this while uploading large files in TGDrive, after uploading from device their somewhat delay to upload to telegram progress to work.
It appears to be stuck at this point, but actually the file you sent to the server is being saved to its storage (storage of server). Its same as copying file and takes some time depending upon storage speed.

After this update, you will see the progress while the file in being saved to server's storage

🚀 TG Drive Tip

If you don't want to keep the browser tab open while a file is being uploaded, follow these steps:

1. File Upload from Device:

Wait until the file is successfully uploaded from your device.
Once the "Status: Uploading To Backend Server" message disappears, you can safely close the tab.


2. URL Upload:

Add the URL and observe the upload progress.
As soon as the progress is displayed, you can close the tab.
The file upload will continue in the background.


Note: If you close the tab, you won't be able to reconnect to the progress.

1. Random ID as Filename: If the filename cannot be retrieved from the Content-Disposition header or the URL, a random ID will be used as the filename. The file extension will be derived from the Content-Type header.
