New Sim Card rules in India 2023, valid from 1 December 2023.
1. ๐ฆ๐ถ๐บ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: A sim card dealer or someone who wants to sell Sim cards need to do a verification and they will also have to get the sim cards registered, telecom operators are responsible for police Varification.
2. ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: Customers who buy sim card needs to submit their Aadhar Card and demographic data.
3. ๐๐๐น๐ธ ๐ฆ๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ: One person can only buy upto 9 sim cards. More sim cards can only be purchased through a business connection.
