🛰 These images may seem alarming, but there's nothing unusual about them: sometimes, old spacesuits are discarded from the ISS. In such cases, it may appear as though a person is floating away into open space. After some time, the spacesuit will disintegrate in the dense layers of the atmosphere.

📱 Shrek, but make it vertical… 🤨😂

I just found a video where classic Shrek got stretched into a vertical format for phones. Now he’s not just 3D, but also… oddly proportioned. 😅

🇬🇧 Britain Builds the World's First Graphene Road

🚧 In the northeast of the country, the first public road with added graphene has been tested. The modified asphalt makes the pavement stronger and more durable, reducing the risk of potholes and cracks. This could lower maintenance costs and reduce the carbon footprint. Previously, graphene asphalt was tested in parking lots and highways, and now the technology is ready for large-scale implementation.

🛰 NASA Shuts Down Another Scientific Instrument on the "Voyagers"

📡 NASA engineers are looking for ways to extend the lifespan of the "Voyagers" that have traveled into interstellar space. They have shut down the cosmic ray instrument on Voyager 1 to conserve energy for approximately another year of travel. This instrument consisted of three telescopes measuring charged particle flows from interstellar space. A similar measure will soon be applied to Voyager 2: on March 24, its low-energy charged particle instrument, consisting of a telescope and an analyzer, will be turned off. After this, each spacecraft will have only three functioning scientific instruments remaining.

⚖️ Tesla vs BYD: Scientists Disassemble and Compare Car Manufacturers' Batteries

🔋 Researchers from RWTH Aachen University have disassembled and compared Tesla 4680 and BYD Blade batteries. The team concluded that Tesla focuses on maximizing energy density, while BYD prioritizes cost-efficiency and safety. The cylindrical 4680 cells achieve an energy density of 241 Wh/kg, whereas BYD Blade’s prismatic cells reach 160 Wh/kg. This makes Tesla's batteries more compact and lightweight, but they are more expensive and generate more heat. BYD’s batteries, on the other hand, offer better thermal stability and lower costs. Scientists also made an unexpected discovery: neither battery contained silicon in its anodes.
