A user bought an iPad Air M2 (WiFi) in June 2024, and a few days ago white patches suddenly appeared on the screen. There is no external damage and no liquid damage. Apple's own diagnostic report says "hardware failure from display part", yet the repair estimate is ₹60,000, almost the price of a new iPad. Many iPad Air M1 and M2 users on r/ipad are facing the exact same issue.🔄 iOS 27 has a Face ID bug where one failed attempt freezes your iPhone and reboots it. Apple confirmed to 9to5Mac's Benjamin Mayo that a fix is coming early next week.

- Low yields, Delayed deliveries and last-minute design changes for Samsung Display’s foldable OLED panels and the 100+ component hinge assembly
- Global stock targets for 2026 are only estimated at 6–8 million units. Usually, new flagship iPhones sell 20–30 million units.
There are high chances of a stock shortage for the iPhone Duo.

Apple Pay is live in India
The Debit or Credit Card option is now showing in the Wallet app, you can add your card and pay with your iPhone or Apple Watch online, in apps and in shops with contactless payments
Right now only Axis Bank Visa and Mastercard credit cards are supported, no RuPay, rollout is going out in phases
Basically it works only at shops and terminals which have enabled Apple Pay, so it can work at one terminal and fail at another for now
HDFC, ICICI and SBI Card are not there yet, reportedly Apple wants around 0.2% fee on every transaction, banks earn only around 0.4 to 0.5% in the payments layer so talks are still going on
