Samsung killed LPDDR4 and LPDDR4X. Both are now officially listed as discontinued on Samsung's own website. No new orders are being accepted.
Production runs till end of 2026, after which the lines shift to LPDDR5. Qualcomm and MediaTek still use LPDDR4X on budget and mid-range chips.
