AMD Ryzen 7 7800X Reportedly Spotted with 5.2GHz Boost clock, and 2,000GHz iGPU

AMD’s Zen 4-based Ryzen 7000 CPUs have entered mass production, with first samples already undergoing testing in labs. These 5nm chips will focus on single-threaded performance using a combination of high IPC and raised boost clocks. The chip is clocked at 5.21GHz across eight cores and sixteen threads, an impressive result for an engineering sample.

The other interesting aspect is the iGPU. Raphael will feature an integrated RDNA 2 iGPU with 2-4 CUs. The Phoronix benchmark suite detects it as a Rembrandt GPU with a boost clock of 2,000MHz which falls in line with what we’ve seen from RDNA 2 on mobile APUs.

The Ryzen 7000 processors are expected to be announced during AMD’s Computex 2022 keynote later this month.
