Claude will now ask you to verify your age or identity
Anthropic has updated its privacy policy wherein they have mentioned that Claude users may soon be asked for age or identity checks. Verification data can include government ID, face photos/videos, and facial geometry templates.
These changes to the privacy policy will be effective from July 8, 2026.

Novo Nordisk has been compromised. Novo Nordisk has confirmed the compromise.
Novo Nordisk is the company that became famous after producing weight loss drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy
The Threat Actor(s) responsible for the attack has been playfully extorting Novo Nordisk (they're not being playful) and have unveiled some details regarding what was stolen.
Interestingly, it appears Novo Nordisk has it's own internal AI thing because some of the data stolen was stuff from their internal AI agents.
Data stolen (according to the Threat Actor):
- Trained model checkpoint (16GB)
- Proprietary training dataset (407MB)
- Full source code (modeling_novopert.py, training pipeline)
- 113 training runs with complete logs
- Internal infrastructure maps (HPC, Slurm, SSH)
- Container images (53GB+)
- Developer identities and internal hostnames
- Private GitHub repository URL

BREAKING: India bans Telegram to stop NEET examination paper leaks
Since the NEET examination paper for 2026 was leaked earlier, and later spread on Telegram by different individuals, the Government of India has decided to restrict Telegram to stop the spread of the NEET paper in case it gets leaked again.
Telegram has been temporarily banned in India until 22nd June 2026 for the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination, and the message editing feature will be disabled in the country until 30th June 2026.

The Government of India is also using the Indian Air Force C-17 aircraft to transport NEET papers to examination centers because they fear the papers could leak during transportation.

Apple and Google have also received orders from the Indian government to remove the Telegram app from their app stores amid concerns of medical exam fraud.
Google and Apple, both of them will comply with the order and will delist the Telegram app from PlayStore ans AppStore respectively.

SpaceX announced that it will acquire Anysphere, the company behind AI coding tool Cursor, in an all-stock transaction valuing Cursor at $60B.
Cursor will become a wholly owned SpaceX subsidiary. The merger is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026 after regulatory approvals.
