😏 Xnapper.com is not a startup at all; it simply knows how to make beautiful screenshots. That’s allβ€”no other features. But it performs this one perfectly.

And attention! The app’s revenue is over $70,000 per year.

Monetization is a one-time payment (lifetime access). The price tag, for a moment’s thought, ranges from $30 to $80. Per screenshot.

Some may find that a bit low, but for some it’s just right, given that the app has almost no server costs or expensive API fees.

And there are many such apps: custom QR generators, audio recording tools, email clients, converters…

So, you can do very simple things, but do them perfectly! And most importantly, deliver quick value to people. Time is money. Remember?

πŸ“± How to come up with a startup idea from nothing?

Recipe 1: Start with what you and your co-founders have expertise in, and think of ideas that leverage that experience.

An added bonus for the ideas is a Founder/Market Fit.

Recipe 2: Start with a problem you personally faced, ideally one you encountered in an unusual situation.

Example: the VetCove founder’s father used to order supplies for his veterinary clinic by phone; this founder noticed it and created an β€œAmazon for veterinarians.”

Such insights aren’t available to most startup founders, because they don’t encounter them.

Recipe 3: Think about what you would want. Want delivery from a restaurant that doesn’t deliver? Do it yourself.

Recipe 4: Look for things in the world that have recently changed and thus created new opportunities. Pandemics, wars, and so on.

Recipe 5: Look at successful companies and find new ways to implement them. If something works, for example in one market, it might work in another.

Recipe 6: Talk to people and ask about their problems. The best approach here: choose a promising area, and then talk to its β€œparticipants.” That is, not only with potential customers but also with founders of companies in the industry.

Recipe 7: Look for large industries that seem unworkable. Because they’re likely to be ready for change.

Additional recipe: find a co-founder who already has an idea.

🎯 The Only SQL You Actually Need For Your First Data Analytics Job

🚫 Avoid the Learning Trap:
Watching 100+ tutorials but no hands-on practice.

βœ… Reality:
75% of real SQL work boils down to these essentials:

1️⃣ SELECT, FROM, WHERE
⦁ Pick columns, tables, and filter rows
SELECT name, age FROM customers WHERE age > 30;

2️⃣ JOINs
⦁ Combine related tables (INNER JOIN, LEFT JOIN)
SELECT o.id, c.name FROM orders o JOIN customers c ON o.customer_id = c.id;

3️⃣ GROUP BY
⦁ Aggregate data by groups
SELECT country, COUNT(*) FROM users GROUP BY country;

4️⃣ ORDER BY
⦁ Sort results ascending or descending
SELECT name, score FROM students ORDER BY score DESC;

5️⃣ Aggregation Functions
⦁ COUNT(), SUM(), AVG(), MIN(), MAX()
SELECT AVG(salary) FROM employees;

6️⃣ ROW_NUMBER()
⦁ Rank rows within partitions
SELECT name,
ROW_NUMBER() OVER (PARTITION BY department ORDER BY salary DESC) AS rank
FROM employees;

πŸ’‘ Final Tip:
Master these basics well, practice hands-on, and build up confidence!

*πŸš€ SQL Interview Questions with Answers β€” Made Easy!*

*1. How to rename a table in SQL?*
Use this command:
ALTER TABLE old_table_name RENAME TO new_table_name;
β†’ Simple: use ALTER, mention the current name, then RENAME TO and the new name. βœ…

*2. How to use LIKE in SQL?*
Use LIKE to match patterns:
SELECT * FROM employees WHERE first_name LIKE 'Steven';
β†’ It fetches all rows where first_name is exactly β€œSteven”.

*3. Does dropping a table delete related objects too?*
Yes βœ…: Constraints, indexes, columns, and defaults *inside* the table are deleted.
No ❌: Views and stored procedures stay β€” they exist *outside* the table.

*4. What are SQL Constraints?*
They define rules on table data. Common constraints include:
NOT NULL, CHECK, DEFAULT, UNIQUE, PRIMARY KEY, FOREIGN KEY

Coursera interview experience
Role - ML engineer

It started with his introduction and then mine. Next he gave me one hackerrank link to solve live a medium to hard level leetcode question based on arrays. After completing that, he asked me few ML based questions like type of learning and their explanations and a few examples. Also asked me to classify 2 examples about what ML model might be suitable for that case. Also he asked me a few SQL queries. Then he asked me to choose a project which i did and asked me to explain it and cross questioned about that. At last he gave me a chance to ask a few questions.
