…and here she did that song at the Nobel Prize dinner 12 years ago!
Artists are angels
Look at this angel at work… Do you have any idea what it takes to sing and tell a story directly from your heart like she does? The courage, the vulnerability, the power and honesty. She never fakes it. There is no one like Laleh, an Earth fairy.
Please watch ♥️

LOVELY LALEH
Sending a powerful message at the Swedish Nobel Prize Dinner. Heavy critisizm to the school and society system, and the lyrics mention 1984.
Just days after, she does the same song at another event, and interrupts to confirm that she is talking about our leaders.
The costume and choreography for the children enhances the message to the Nobel audience; government leaders, royalties, scientists. The kids start out as free and playful with birds flying over their heads, and then… Society/teacher/authority rings the bell. An anonymous, dark, masked figure who makes the colorful children become like robots in prison clothes.
But later on - they wake up again!
Laleh ends it all with singing in Swedish, almost a capella: I see many lights out there! And then in silence, the children leave the stage to go out there.. surrounding the leader’s table with their lights.

Here she quotes ”Lilla My” from the Moomin Valley;

I read that Billy Bob Thornton said he has only one rule for chosing roles: to never kill Tom Cruise. That would ruin your career…
Then he corrects himself; ”to never TRY to kill Tom. Because everyone knows he won’t die. The good always win - in Hollywood.”
