My notes from listening to Charlie Freak, Colleen, G, JJ, Q, & FreaQsense Fam. That also became a walk through my right brain. In the search for pearls and storms; doves, pens, braids and bubbles. White hats, Dark Knights, white wings and black umbrellas

Were you also afraid of the wolf in the story when you were a child? I very much identified with the little girl, who just wanted to reach her grandmother’s house.

Other beings I was afraid of as a child…

1. MÅRRAN

The icecold, shapeless, female giant shadow being in the Moomin books, by Tove Jansson.
I felt so sorry for her, at the same time as I was too scared to even look at that one page in the book, where she entered.

I knew she was just so lonely.

She had no friends and was feared by most of the ones living in Moominvalley. The ground beneath her freezed where she was walking, and her cold radiance caused others to think gloomy thoughts.

She almost didn’t speak, just howling when she was sad.

Mårran always seeks light and warmth. But she never manages to get there, the fire goes out when she gets too close.

”She stared into the lamp and slowly shook her big heavy head. A white mist of cold rolled at her feet. Now she began to glide slowly towards the lamp, a huge gray shadow of loneliness."

"There is no other Mårran but me, I am the only one. I'm the coldest person in the whole world. I never get warm.”
2. The witch in Snow white 🍎
4. I was also so scared of the reality (?) crime tv-show ”Cops” and it’s theme music. Still get the shivers from hearing it today 😅
