My own tome (written many years ago now);

Tecsun PL-380 just arrived; happy camper ... it's even lighter/smaller than expected; perfect for hiking/backpacking/wordtravel and ... survival emergencies - the DSP chip also has anti-jamming features so even if the UK is under EW (electronic warfare) attack during any actual attack, I should still be able to pick up the signal!

Highly recommended bit of kit. :)

Note, due to the DSP chip, this radio needs EMP protection during storage (think tiny faraday cage).

I served in the USAF in the 1970's. I was stationed at Bitburg Air Base. Crew Chief on the F-4E. 2 strategic areas on base included Victor Alert and Zulu Alert. Victor Alert was a highly secure area sectioned off from the rest of the squadron, with a Tab Vee with an F-4E loaded with a tactical nuke. 2 pilots and 2 crew chiefs 24/7 on duty. A "No Lone Zone" existed around the plane. Our planes and pilots flew in support of other NATO countries as they confronted "non-terrestrial unknowns" violating their airspace. Identify, Intercept and Shoot Down was the Mission Statement of the day. The pilots who came back spoke in hushed tones (it was 1976) of UFO's over Switzerland. The Billy Meier case was unfolding at that time. Later I was to meet and spend time with the late Col. Wendelle C. Stevens. I saw his photo binder of the pictures he had acquired over his many years of research. Astounding crystal clear photos. Large craft on the ice in Antartica in the 1950's. 1,000' diameter disc's with no markings. Disc's flying right next to aircraft. I also co-produced the West Coast Bay Area UFO Conference for 10 years. I have seen Mr. Dolan many times over the years, and he has proven himself to be a dedicated researcher with integrity. At this point in my life, I ask 2 questions. 1. Why IS Earth here? 2. Why am I on it at this time in it's history? Peace to all on the path of higher consciousness.
