While I am aware of the various threads that weave the tangled web of 9/11, listening to Pepe's sober reminder of what we all have known, I find myself on the verge of tears, that my country knew before hand and in fact may have been complicit in what happened that terrible day. I even feel a sense of guilt that I should have known more of what my government was up to in the world. I learned what it was like at ground Zero from my cousin, a young rookie firefighter from Mountain View California who volunteered to go to NYC to help recover the dead. To this day he has a very hard time talking about it. The tears are flowing down my face, the tears of an American who is so disappointed in what this once great country has sunk to. May we rise again, I can only hope.

🇬🇧 Birmingham Council's proposed 'Flag Ban' has hit a MAJOR SETBACK with a high court judge calling the proposed ban 'TROUBLING'.
The ban has now been delayed as Judge Emma Kelly claims their case against individuals in Birmingham raising the UK and England flags is lacking clarity and does not demonstrate that a ban would be required.
It should be noted that while some people claimed the ban was fair because it affected 'all flags', the individuals named by the council as the source of what they perceive is 'the problem' only raise the flag of St George and the Union Jack.
Not a single other flag was specifically mentioned.
Proving that we all know exactly what this is.
The case has been adjourned until the 30th September.

LG says its TVs don't record ambient conversations.
The evidence begs to differ.
216 million of these are sitting in living rooms.
Where are the regulators?
The LG smart TV story transcribing your conversations is more important than advertising.
In 2023, Parliament was already investigating connected devices, (UK Parliament Committees)
Remember … The UK gov's One Login collects real identity, IP addresses, device information and unique device IDs. It can share those identifiers with government departments, the Home Office and law enforcement for fraud and security purposes.
And the state already has legal powers under the Investigatory Powers Act for targeted equipment interference. Including
