As I've been writing on ZH for the last 10 years, that white people are throwing our toys out of the pram, because we see our power declining dramatically, and our lies regarding the sources of our wealth, and how our advantages are maintained, are being dismantled before our eyes.

Shakedown in this context is just a euphemism for having a gun pointed to your head, and being robbed of significant proportion of your resources.
