More winning ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFFQaFJzUuY
I burst into tears watching this one ... Though my logical mind doesn't want to accept this is the turning point (in case it turns out not to have been) emotionally my body's telling me we've finally hit the top of the mountain and the fight should be downhill all the way from here. :)
Phew
Don't slack off now ... more crucial than EVER to keep plugging away EVERY SINGLE DAY without fail. ;)
The pushback to stop us winning will be very real indeed.
If u didn't have time for the vid (Trump one); his call with Putin = 1 hour + ... meeting in Saudi Arabia asap; Ukraine peace deal on the table.
He's convinced Putin wants peace too. ;) #LoveRussia
Also Trump mentioned, total war dead (Soldiers only) = over 1.5 million. :(

That 2023 article by David Betz is even more profoundly insightful than this interview, but the interview is more digestible of course - Betz writes well, but at some length and also people seem to have lost the habit of reading. Betz takes the line taken by Francis Bacon, Viscount St Albans, in his short essay called "Of Seditions and Troubles", written around 1600. Bacon, like Betz, was part of the Establishment - but not afraid to criticize it. He got into hot water eventually - but was not executed like other less influential critics of the Elizabethan State. Bacon identified the main cause of Sedition as weakness in the foundations of the State - "So when any of the foure Pillars of Government are mainly shaken or weakned (which are Religion, Justice, Counsell, and Treasure,) Men had need to pray for Faire Weather." In modern parlance, this translates to people losing trust in government because religion, justice, policy and finances are in a bad way. Bacon then goes on to examine the causes of Sedition in more detail - "For the surest way to prevent Seditions, .... is to take away the Matter of them. For if there be Fuell prepared, it is hard to tell whence the Spark shall come that shall set it on Fire. The Matter of Seditions is of two kindes; Much Poverty and Much Discontentment. It is certaine, so many Overthrowne Estates, so many Votes for Troubles. So Lucan noteth well the State of Rome before the Civill Warre:- 'Hence sprang devouring usury, and interest rapidly becoming due, hence shaken trust, and war that was a boon to many'. This same "War a Boon to Many" is an assured and infallible Signe of a State disposed to Seditions and Troubles. And if this Poverty and Broken Estate, in the better Sort, be joyned with a Want and Necessity in the meane People, the danger is imminent and great. For the Rebellions of the Belly are the worst. ...... Neither let any Prince or State be secure concerning Discontentments, because they have been often, or have been long, and yet no Perill hath ensued; For as it is true that every Vapor or Fume doth not turne into a Storme, So it is, neverthelesse, true that Stormes, though they blow over divers times, yet may fall at last; And as the Spanish Proverb noteth well; The cord breaketh at the last by the weakest pull."
Summarising neatly, and devastatingly, Bacon writes - "The Causes and Motives of Seditions are,— Innovation in Religion; Taxes; Alteration of Lawes and Customes; Breaking of Priviledges; Generall Oppression; Advancement of unworthy persons; Strangers; Dearths; Disbanded Souldiers; Factions growne desperate; And whatsoever in offending People joyneth and knitteth them in a Common Cause." Innovation in Religion - tick. Taxes - tick. Alteration of Laws and Customs - tick. Breaking of Privileges - tick. Generall Oppression - tick. Advancement of unworthy persons - tick. Strangers - double tick. Dearths - tick. Disbanded Soldiers - tick. Factions grown desperate - tick. All present in 2025 as in 1600 (as three separate gunpowder plots and then a huge Civil War loomed).
