Northumbria University is IN Newcastle (the City) though (I'm the ex-President of the Union Society of Newcastle University). Per my linkedin profile.

Northumbria appoints former MI5 Director General as Visiting Professor
Sir Andrew Parker KCB has accepted the role of visiting professor at Northumbria Law School, offering students the opportunity to meet and debate with the former Director General of the UK’s Security Service.
Northumbria University (something the above article does NOT disclose) is ALSO one of the only SIX (last time I checked) locations in the UK where barristers-at-law can get qualified (aka Bar School).
I needed better lawyers. Specifically lawyers that can read English PROPERLY and FULLY. ;)
Sir Andrew Parker ... was the Head of MI5 when I got ... half a billion (SAS veterans estimate, not mine) spent trying to keep me alive in 2014 (when I was bringing MI5 up to speed with the plan to save you all). ;)
