I bought a size over pair of indoor/outdoor 'snow shoe' slippers to work at home in, will add the above + thermal sock & finally the bastards shouldn't be able to get me retiring to bed to survive the absence of heat this year. hehe

Thermal socks previously bought = all added together an expensive foot each, but with added (as I am finally) rugs underfoot too; some chance of not losing heat through the feet in a crisis.

I can confirm I waited around 40 minutes for the great Ambulance guys to turn up ... I'd have been long dead if my heart had stopped.

Tax cuts on borrowed money for those on over GBP £150,000 a year.

And dying waiting for an ambulance which doesn't come on time for the rest of us.
