If SHTF (Shit Hits The Fan) {yes, I know it already did for all TI's ... but I mean, spreads, like the TI phenomena did to just a few tens of million of us to a planet with COVID) getting hold of batteries may be impossible a while.

Best Solution (light/heat):

Feuerhand Storm Lantern 276 - Colour Edition - £31.41
{+£2.99 delivery inside UK mainland}

https://www.tamarackoutdoors.co.uk/PBSCProduct.asp?ItmID=35934910

Getting the coloured (paraffin) model = essential (accept no substitutes = will last a lifetime (unlike all the other metal models (including with coated metals). The coloured model is BOTH galvanized AND powdered = will not rust thus; and will last a lifetime.

Next best or Alternative (light/heat+cooking)

Dietz 2000; USD 74 (delivered, 48 States, USA)

https://www.homesteadersupply.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1613

A couple of days to nail this one; I just bought my first Feuerhand 276 ;) I will also likely get the model above also, when I can afford it. Cool. :) (note; likely cost around £100-110 including import taxes/int. delivery).
Both together; GBP 140 done; household lighting that can get me through months/years/a lifetime of no electricity. ... Including with heating water continuously on the latter; continuous hot drinks OR WATER FOR HOT WATER BOTTLES = could be a life-saver.
Feuerhand = 7 candles worth of light output
Dietz 2000 = 9
"Boiling a field cup (355 ml) of water using the cooking adapter takes 15–20 minutes."
= backup stove (and the most efficient use of paraffin I can find ... heat (9 candles); light, 9 candles; cooking too, all from the same burn.
Why Choose Oil Lamps?
Oil lamps allow you to have emergency lighting that is not reliant on electrical power, batteries, or solar power being available. All that an oil lamp needs to operate is a source of fuel—kerosene, paraffin oil, or citronella oil.

Under more pressing situations, they can be fueled by common cooking oils, such as olive, corn, canola, and olive oil.

They are also very efficient. Most consume less than 1 ounce (29.6 ml) of oil per hour. This means that 1 gallon (3.74 liters) of oil can yield 128 to 256 hours of lighting.

Hurricane-style oil lamps, those that protect the flame from the wind, will provide you with steady lighting throughout the night. Since they are clean-burning, oil lamps are safe to use indoors and outdoors.
Everything else I can find is sub-optimal in some way.
Will write the above up into a new Peace Officers doc and add to the collection; Grid-Down-Defences (?) or similar.
Kerosene = paraffin & vice versa; same same.
Four litres of paraffin costs around £7.50 in UK atm.
Thus x 3 = £22.50 for fuel = 3 months light @ 6 h.p.d.
If you go the whole hog (and at least likely the replacement wick & replacement Globe should be a must to be obtained minimum):

Feuerhand 276 Burner with Wick - £5.91
Feuerhand 276 Clear Glass Globe - £4.21
Feuerhand 276 Fuel Filler Cap - £4.21
Feuerhand 276 Replacement Wick - 1 Mtr - £5.91

= 20.24 extra for spares.
Lamp £35.00
Paraffin £22.50
Spares £20.24
