(1) Senior citizen saving scheme maximum limit increased to 30 lakhs from the earlier 15 lakhs
(2) Monthly income scheme maximum limit increased to 9 lakh from the earlier 4.5 lakh
(3) ‘Mahila Samman Bachat Patra’, a new deposit scheme for women with a tenure of 2 years with tax rebate upto 2 lakh of investment and 7.5% return.
(4) Income upto 7,00,000 in the new tax regime & pay no tax!
(5) Highest tax rate comes down from 42.7% to 39%
