I feel good when people consider myself as an RBI Governor 🙂 and request me to remove this and remove that but I am not an RBI Governor!
If you want anything to be changed then email to RBI, don’t write in YT comments!
Why candidates won’t understand this simple thing!
I am just a facilitator, you have to take action at mass level.
I am hopeful in RBI Assistant and Grade B also.

Subject - Request for Age Limit Relaxation in RBI Assistant and Grade B Recruitments
Dear Respected Sir/Madam,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is (write your name), a resident of (place name), and a dedicated aspirant for opportunities in public sector banking. As a graduate, I have been preparing rigorously for RBI examinations and greatly admire the Reserve Bank of India's crucial role in shaping India's economic landscape.
I am writing to respectfully request a revision in the upper age eligibility criteria for RBI recruitments. Specifically:
- Increasing the maximum age limit for RBI Assistant from 28 years to 30 years.
- Increasing the maximum age limit for RBI Grade B Officer from 30 years to 32 years.
This change is particularly important because RBI Assistant recruitments occur only once every 2-3 years, leading to significant lost opportunities for general category candidates who age out due to the current low limits. Many aspirants, including myself, invest years in preparation, only to miss the chance by a narrow margin. In contrast, NABARD Assistant (DA) recruitment allows up to 35 years, while LIC Assistant and other insurance sector assistant recruitments permit up to 30 years. Aligning RBI's criteria with these would promote fairness and inclusivity, allowing a wider pool of talented individuals to participate.
We are not demanding jobs or reservations in RBI; we simply seek the opportunity to appear in the examinations and compete on merit. This would also enable experienced professionals in their late 20s and early 30s to contribute their skills, maturity, and diverse perspectives to RBI's mission of financial stability and inclusion. Such a progressive step would enhance public trust in RBI's recruitment policies and attract even stronger talent without compromising standards.
I kindly urge you to forward this suggestion to the relevant policy and recruitment committees for consideration in upcoming notifications. I would appreciate any acknowledgment or updates on this matter and am available for further discussion.
Thank you for your time and understanding.
Warm regards,
