sir let me give you details about phase 2 for cutoff prediction
1. FM: Objective part was easier. but some people left 6 marks of numericals. that will be a game changer. Descriptive: moderate. I would say same level as last year.
2. English: the passage for precis was data driven. but it wasnt difficult. Essay is something which is subjective. RC was EASIER than last year. PLUS they improved the interface of RC this year. We were not required to scroll all the way to the top to read the passage. the passage and answer box were side by side like precis. this made it super easy to navigate. 3-4 Questions of RC were direct and i think only 1-2 needed some critical thinking. So I think largely english was of same level as last year if not slightly easier.
3. ESI- Objective was tough. 1 marker Scheme questions were too lengthy. there were only handful 2-markers that one could be 100% sure about. statements were extremely detailed. They expect us to read 100+ page scheme documents from ministry websites now. the summary on PIB or myscheme will not be enough. Descriptive was also tougher than last year. Last year, questions were generic. This year they picked 3 reports and directly asked questions. One question about unreleased WDR too. Those who did not study proactively missed out. they want you to go on official websites and read the concept notes of unreleased reports too. Thankfully I had covered it. and knew the broad dimensions.
Waiting for your prediction. I know i am in the safe zone. Its just a matter of how much edge i have for the interview this year. I am gonna start preparing for the Interview from tomorrow. will not waste the opportunity like last year.

Sir Good evening
I attempted this year phase 2 .
The description questions were very specific this time ...
Non verbal communication and its relationship with leadership, teams and workplace culture...( In this question writing the specific relationship will take time because of the thinking involved...which takes the mind away from the word count )
Approach of the budget and in the same question how important it is to maintain a balance b/w fiscal and monetary policy for growth and inflation control...( Here to relate these two questions in one ...it was taking time )
SDG report and how there is a struggle among dealing with environment goals, economic progress and poverty reduction ( here too ...the struggle was to be highlighted...not the positives or the approaches needed ...in the end one may add a positive idea about their integration, but over all it was a thinker ...)
AI and finance ...new dimensions and ethical imperative...
All the descriptive questions were specific...and needed some thinking time ...word count was not a priority because no direct question was asked ...in direct questions we can start writing what we have learned or read ...
I could write ...320-50 words in 600 words answers...
400 words questions were ok ...with 100-120 words not written ...
Last yr ...only in one or two questions in esi this much inter linking was asked ...
I remember writing over 500 words in 600 w and ...and 350+ in 400 words ...last yr .. in FM
English went right ...
Wrote 550 words in essay ...
Precis was 202 words ...they asked for 180-200 words ...( In presis I made a mistake ...the para was about how amazon forest was going through degradation and illegal crimes ...how human lives were lost ...etc ...meaning it was critical and only in the end it said ...only an integrated approach could be a hope ...
In hurry i have put the title as ...the amazing amazon ...the hope for future ...
At last I recalled that it was a critical para ...with a hopeful way forward...
Whereas i wrote a positive title ...maybe I should have put a question mark in the tile ...
Comprehension was also good .
Last year I scored 63 marks in english...hoping around the same .
