This is ‘Smart City Patna’. A pothole so big that a Mahindra Scorpio SUV car fell into it.

Five people were reportedly in the car when it fell into the deep waterlogged pothole. And this happened right outside the Patna junction, according to ANI.

The car’s owner said “This is a conspiracy to defame the government during the election period. This is all BUIDCO’s (Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation) fault. They created a pothole on the road and left it for 20 days. It’s the rainy season. 5 people fell into it. If someone had lost their life, then who would take responsibility?"

“There was no barricade. After my car fell, another person on a bike also fell into the same ditch. Locals say someone or the other falls in this pothole every day”, the owner added.

Our cities are given flashy names by ministers to make headlines, but it takes just one monsoon to expose their reality.

Just one monsoon to show taxpayers where their money is going.
