Subject: Regarding sudden unexpected eligibility change in IFSCA Grade A Generalist post and request to reconsider and restore the eligibility to all graduates atleast for this year.
Respected Sir,
Today, dated 10th September 2025, the notification for the IFSCA Grade A was released, and students were taken aback by the sudden change in the eligibility criteria in Generalist post.
The IFSCA Grade A Generalist cadre examination is highly prestigious, competitive and requires months of dedicated preparation.
Based on the last two notifications and no prior communication aspirants had expected the eligibility criteria to remain same. However, the recent changes have rendered a large number of graduates ineligible, leaving them disheartened after preparing diligently for the past 6β7 months.
This development has severely impacted the hopes of many deserving candidates who had invested their time and effort with the genuine expectation of meeting the earlier eligibility standards.
We kindly request your urgent intervention to reconsider this decision and restore the eligibility criteria to those of the previous notification for Generalist post, atleast for this year so that aspirants may be given a fair opportunity to appear for the examination.
Yours sincerely,
