• Position: #Short #Service #Commission in the Executive Branch (#Information #Technology) under a Special #Naval Orientation Course.
• Eligibility: #Unmarried candidates with:
• 60% marks in English (Class X/XII) and a degree in IT-related fields (#BTech, #MTech, #MSc, #MCA) with 60% overall marks.
• Age: Born between 2nd July 2000 and 1st January 2006.
• #NCC ‘C’ #Certificate holders get a 5% relaxation in cutoff marks.
• Vacancies: 15 (both men and women).
• Selection Process:
1. Shortlisting based on normalized marks.
2. #SSB #Interview for shortlisted candidates.
3. Final merit list based on SSB marks.
• Training:
• Initial Naval Orientation Course at INA, Ezhimala.
• Subsequent professional training on naval ships.
