In the long run RBI Assistant Job is better option.
After 4-5 years one can become Grade A in RBI. One can become DGM for sure and GM is also possible.

This is a very valid point. Posting should be in home town, home district or atleast in home state. People can’t do anything in other states, local people are with local leaders. When I was in Allahabad bank similar thing happened, the local leader was about to beat other state branch manager, me and other officer saved BM.

💥💥💥💥💥Don’t put your all efforts at one place, keep Plan A, B, C, D ready, because less than 0.1% get success in their Plan A, ultimately onc has to shift to Plan B, C and D.
Second most important thing is that set some time limit for preparation of some XYZ exam like 2-3-4 years, don’t waste your 5-10-15 years in govt job preparation.
