In India, there are many public-sector banks. Now and in the past, the coverage was for SBI only! Once I asked to few common people about the PSBs, I got very interesting replies. They think that SBI belongs to the Government of India, BoM belongs to the Maharashtra Government, BoB-Gujarat, and Canara Bank-Karnataka! Earlier, there was Oriental Bank of Commerce, ye to Private Bank hi lagti thi!😂
