Target Descriptive GOVT Scheme
UDAN Scheme - 5 year completed
Achievements So Far:
β There were 74 operational airports in 2014 which has increased to 141 by now.
β 68 underserved/unserved destinations which include 58 Airports, 8 Heliports & 2 Water Aerodromes have been connected under UDAN scheme.
β With 425 new routes initiated, UDAN has provided air connectivity to more than 29 States/ UTs across the country.
β More than one crore passengers have availed the benefits of this scheme as on 4th August 2022.
Targets:
β 220 destinations (airports/heliports/water aerodromes) under UDAN are targeted to be completed by 2026 with 1000 routes to provide air connectivity to unconnected destinations in the country.
β Under UDAN, 954 routes have already been awarded to connect 156 airports.

β Heads of state and governments belonging to 20 of the worldβs major advanced and emerging economies have gathered for a two-day summit meeting in Bali, Indonesia.
The 17th annual summit of G20 countries is being organized at Bali, Indonesia.
β At the end of the meeting, India, represented by PM Narendra Modi, will assume charge of the G20 presidency.
The 18th summit will be held in India next year.
The Bali summit will have three key priorities:
β Global Health Architecture
β Digital Transformation
β Sustainable Energy Transition
The G20 countries are considered as the engines of global growth as they account for 60 per cent of the worldβs population, 80 per cent of the worldβs GDP and 75 per cent of the worldβs exports.
