β GST works best when there is one rate on all goods and services across India as it reduces compliance burden, removes litigation, removes other issues like 'Inverted Duty' and makes businesses/economy more efficient.
If we want to tax the rich people then it should be through direct taxation.

PLI Scheme and its relevance in achieving India's Five Trillion Economy By 2021-25

In budget 2021-22, the Finance minister allotted 1.97 lakh crore for the PLI scheme in 13 sectors for the next five years. This is aimed at bringing Indian production quantity and quality to global standards. In this essay we will see what is PLI, why is it needed?, what will be its benefits, and what can be done further to enhance this initiative. Production Linked Scheme aims to give companies incentive to companies on incremental sales (over FY 2019-20) from products manufactured in domestic units. It offers incentive of 4%-6% on incremental sales. Initially, it was limited to only mobile, medical equipment, and pharma sector but attributing to its success, it is extended to other sectors too. Amid the COVID pandemic and lockdown worldwide the global supply chain took a hit.
It exposed the vulnerability of over-dependence on imports. It also highlighted the need of being self-reliant. And production and manufacturing units prepare the foundation rock for a self-reliant economy.
β Amid lacunas like disrupted power, lack of credit, competition from global imports, etc. Our industries needed support and government-provided that support I from of PLI scheme.
β It will not only help India to match the global level of production but will also make India an important part of a global supply chain in the offing. Other than that, it will generate employment that is in dire need after lockdown is over.
β It is also important for our V shape recovery of the economy. Not only that but it will give a push to the economic growth in terms of GDP, GNP, etc. Balance of Payment, Current account, and capital account too will see positive externalities due to this scheme.
β Above all the credit culture and ranking in international reports and indices too will see a rise
β For further developments, more sectors can be included under this scheme. And a separate department for every sector can be formulated on Ad-Hoc basis to keep an eye on the progress of the scheme in a dynamic way rather than post facto inspection. India aspires to be a 5 trillion economy by 2024-25 and this scheme is one of the strong pillars in realizing that aspiration.

Essay is a short piece of writing on a particular topic. Essays are error free in terms or grammar and spelling and also follow a structure and have a flow of ideas. Following is a basic ideal essay structure:
β Introduction:
Should contain brief introduction of the topic and background. Mention your view before elaborating it in the body of the essay.
β Body:
Used to present views on the subject in detailed manner. Restrict this to 2 or 3 paragraphs. Detail out examples to support your view. Put forth your strongest argument first followed by second strongest and so on. Each paragraph can contain one idea and sentences supporting it.
β Conclusion:
Summarize your main argument using strongest evidences that support it. Donβt introduce a new idea here. Restate your main view, but do not use the same words used in the body.
Itβs important that you plan your essay before you type it out. Spend a few minutes on planning and think about what youβre going to write instead of starting immediately. Suppose you have 15 minutes, spend 5 minutes planning, 8 minutes writing and 2 minutes revising/editing.
