A recommendation: don't buy a Pixel, while hoping to use it on stock and keeping any privacy.
Yeah, you may think "but it's Google, they can't be as bad as an arbitrary bloatware you get on other major OEMs", but only here I see a casual "we'll now upload your data to cloud from this previously offline feature" served so casually.

Google has an amazing itch for an antitrust. Have all these entities agreed out of their own will? What would it give them?

Just don't rush to do that, I'm waiting for usable details. A friend was able to enter sahara, but the firehose we had or the environment wouldn't work.

If you've been wondering if under-display cameras are really that bad without processing (no algo to remove the flares), here's Nubia Z80 Ultra. Please view on an Ultra HDR device to avoid the dull look (although I aimed to nullify local tone mapping also for SDR).

Their asterisk people must've had a sleepy day because IMX586 is capable of PD-less 4000x2256@120

They actually have very useful regional FAQ pages that slip normally poorly available details about their devices, but this is not one of them.

In totally unrelated news, Light Fusion 950 is indeed OV50Q and one of the cheapest Redmis has 3 different main camera sensor suppliers (not just module!), all with different image format (from 1/2.5" to 1/2.96") and FoV (from 74.4° to 79°), not to mention 4 different panel vendors.

A tale of a friend sir,

My friend visited restaurant recently, he eat food and about to pay.
He was using kind of keybox and suddenly app wasn't opening.
He called lot of people to pay online, but nobody pick-up phone.

Got badly trashed manhandled by guards.

Fortunately I callback him at main point and pay his bill.

If you use banking apps regularly.
Please avoid crom.

The recent root-getting vulnerability that one-shots everything is not to be messed with. If you want to bl unlock, stop your OTAs. If you don't want to get compromised by a single compromised application (like outdated browser), you better install them. It's not getting the "deserved media attention", hence I'm not rushing with (publicly available) details, so I'll repeat myself:
- Want bl unlock or temp root? Don't update.
- Want to install suspicious or insecure applications? Update.

Yes, it needs device-tailoring, but it seems like this process is gonna progress fast from now on.

OmniVision no longer sells any 1/1.55" mobile sensor that wouldn't offer DCG. It'll take time before all the spare module stock runs out, but it's quite interesting to think about.
