π Do Not Let One Loss Lead to Another | Trading Psychology
The harder you pull, the tighter some knots become.
Have you ever tried to untangle a pair of wired earphones in a hurry, only to make the knot tighter the more you pull? The same thing can happen in trading.
A trade hits its stop-loss, and your mind immediately looks for a way to recover it:
π΄You enter the next trade too early.
π΄You take more risk on an average setup.
π΄Or you take a trade you probably would not have entered if the previous loss had not happened.
πWhen a Loss Becomes More Than a Number
The mind does not always see a loss as just a negative number in your account. Sometimes, that number becomes connected to other things:
π The phone you have wanted to buy, your dream car, the home you picture for the future, a trip you are planning, or the financial freedom you are working towards.
π That is why a small loss can feel much bigger than it really is, as if part of your goals and plans has also moved further away. This creates a stronger urge to recover the loss quickly. But the more you force the knot open, the more likely you are to create another one.
βStop the Loss From Turning Into More
After a losing trade, the goal is simple: do not let it affect your next decision.
β‘οΈDo not increase your position size.
β‘οΈDo not take extra entries.
β‘οΈDo not take a trade just to recover the loss. Message the Admin for help

Most traders lose right before the expansion because they react to the first move instead of understanding the sequence...
That βfake breakdownβ is a classic ICT Judas Swing β a liquidity raid below lows (SSL) designed to trigger stops and lure breakout sellers into the wrong direction.
Once sell-side liquidity is taken, price often reverses with strong displacement and a clear Market Structure Shift (MSS). That shift confirms the real direction as price expands toward opposing liquidity.
The mistake is entering during the sweep.
The edge is waiting for the raid β then trading the confirmed structure shift.
