🇺🇸 🇮🇷 🇧🇭 ⚡️ — Iranian air defenses destroyed a US MQ-1 drone over Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz, Iranian media reports, citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). There was no immediate confirmation from the United States, according to Jerusalem Post, citing Reuters.

The claim follows an explosion believed to have been caused by a missile attack on the Marshall Islands-flagged oil products tanker MT Velos Sapphire in the Gulf, which killed one seafarer, the ship’s manager Velos Tankers said.
