🔴 Iran's Foreign Ministry said the US military targeting of Iranian commercial vessels in the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman constitutes a continuation of US military aggression, a naval blockade, and economic warfare, accusing Washington of violating the UN Charter.

🔴 The ministry warned the actions could escalate tensions and threaten regional and international peace.

🔴 In response, Iran said its armed forces had targeted US military bases and facilities in Jordan, and carried out defensive strikes against several US vessels.

🔴 Iran reaffirmed it would defend its sovereignty and would formally notify the UN Security Council and the secretary-general.
