🇮🇷🇮🇱🚀— Iran raises demands for reopening Strait of Hormuz: full IDF withdrawal from Gaza

🔴 Mohsen Rezaei, the new secretary-general of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, has prepared a list of conditions to present to Washington, allowing limited passage of ships through the middle of the strait on a temporary basis, with future movement tied to progress toward an understanding with Washington.

🔴 Among the conditions, Rezaei demands a ceasefire across West Asia, especially in Lebanon, and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from occupied Lebanese areas.

🔴 The demand for Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon was agreed upon by the US in June when the two countries signed a memorandum of understanding, but the US refused to honor its commitment and did not pressure Israel to withdraw, which is one of the reasons the memorandum collapsed.

🔴 In addition to withdrawing from Lebanon, Iran demands Israeli forces withdraw from Gaza, which was not included in the memorandum. Rezaei also demanded Israel stop its attacks on Syria and return all occupied territories.

🔴 Rezaei reiterated his threat to resume missile attacks on Israel if the Israeli air force bombs Beirut or its suburbs.
